Henry J. Rivera started his journey in 2000 under 9th Degree Tae Kwon Do Grand Master Kyu Ha Cho. Mr. Rivera has 18 years of experience with over 16 years of teaching in Tae Kwon Do. Mr. Rivera is well versed in the arts of Kickboxing, boxing, Muay Thai, hopkido, and Judo. Through his Journey of competitions he has won notible championships in traditional forms and sparring. His most memorable win was in 2009 when he achieved Grand Champion in forms and sparring, by beating out every 1st place winner in every (weight class) division as a lightweight.

Mr. Rivera transferred to Strong Martial Arts in Richmond, TX on January of 2016 to assist with teaching along side Mr. McKay. During his time he has completed the required instructional hours and curriculum tests to receive his ATA International Certified Instructor Certification. Mr. Rivera has also received certifications in Pressure Points Control Tactics, Knife Defense, and Gun Disarming.
